I just discovered this fabulous ‘momAgenda’ from my single friend and co-worker Roxanne Wilson. She picked it up at Point of Origin (33% off may I add!) – the absolute cutest gift boutique in Lakeway. Anyhoo, Roxanne says this is the first and only day planner that gives her enough room to get it all in – and keep her on track at the same time. She convinced me to give it a try.
The planner features a 17-month calendar that runs from August 2010 through December 2011 with week at a view format, monthly views and plenty of room for kid details (Roxanne says she’s using it to keep up with her fitness and social appointments – and of course, her cute dog Bear.)
Check out the agenda details here.
As you can see, it’s big enough to keep up with a daily to-do-list, write in daily appointments and even keep up with the kid’s schedule and meal planning. Whew.
To enter to win the agenda, simply answer the following question in the Speak Your Mind section of this post:
What is your most frustrating chore – the one that you never get finished no matter how many times it makes your to-do-list. (Mine? Ironing.)
Drawing deadline is Sunday August 22 at noon (CST). One entry per person please.
And the momAgenda goes to … Dana Barry! Congrats. Enjoy.

… just ask Jessica, she’s got pretty good advice

The paper mess!!! It’s unbelievable! No matter how much I try to organize, I never get on top of it!
Dishes. Because once you do them.. you come back 10 min. later and there are already more. It’s the never ending chore ;)
O.. and MomAgenda is who I was referring to when we were chatting about app stuff ;)
Making healthy school lunches for three kid – none of whom like the same foods!
My most frustrating chore is keeping things organized in my closets, drawers, and piano studio. It could be a daily thing, but usually is a once or twice a year big “project” .
Making the bed… I know how bad this sounds however; my husband and I are on two very different work schedules. I simply cannot bring myself to make the bed, if it is going to be disturbed in less than four hours.
Of course there are many frustrating chores on my list. For example, I thoroughly dislike cleaning. Hatred aside, the one that gets me most frustrated is filing all the household bills and paperwork. I usually get about 75% of it done before I need to move on to something else. Next thing I know a week has gone by and the pile is high again.
Dishes and Laundry
Hands down, it’s laundry. I am almost never caught up. Just when I think I have it under control one of my kids will say, “I have no shorts in my drawer!!” Ahhhhh, really?? Okay, pull some out of the dirty laundry. It’s gross, but we do it. Or I’ll think I am looking at a laundry-free day and the baby will have a poop incident in her crib that soils the mattress protector, the sheet, her clothes, her blankie . . . etc. And voila, I have a load of urgent laundry. Sigh.
All of the mail and school papers…I have a REALLY deep drawer that ends up filled to the brim and I have to go through it periodically. I just don’t know how to keep up with it all!
There always seems to be a random stack of clean clothes on the dryer when the laundry is done…the clothes belong to all members of the family, in one stack, with a surprise filling of unmatched socks. Without fail, I will not see the stack, and will turn my closet upside down looking for some silly t-shirt (my summer apparel of choice) and it will be in that stack…the best part? I put it there. Lame.
I do not know that the organizer will help that, but I would like to have it anyway!! If nothing else, I will LOOK more organized!
Oh, I am an organizer junkie! Love to stay on top of planning and organizing, but am terrible at the execution details. I am terrible at keeping up with paperwork, dust and the shower. Ugh…
All of the above (and below). :D
Can i list several!! I have to second the paper piles above….as well as cleaning the shower tiles!! But…if i have to list one that never seems to get touched…i have to say dusting!! i know…yuck! I suppose that is because it was “my chore” when i was a child! :)

My overall most frustrating chore is time management; you know the whole scheduling process. Once I get started on something, I tend to be a perfectionist. In fact, I have often referred to myself as a disorganized perfectionist. I love flexibility and find scheduling (time managemrnt), confining.
Dishes! It never fails; I get them all in the dishwasher, turn it on and by the time it’s finished the sink is already filling with dishes! I would rather fold laundry all day long than look at the dishes.
Paperwork! I’m behind in organizing my papers and everyday I get farther and farther behind!
I never seem to get all the little toy parts put together with their corresponding toys. I end up with an unsightly pile or a basket full of mismatched toys. It makes me crazy!!! Vacuuming the dog hair up is a very close second…
I do not like cleaning the bathrooms, especially the tile shower stall with sliding glass door. Yuck! And the toilet, yuck!
