It is weird to have someone ask me questions over a meal because I’m usually the question asker. Stuff like: What’s your big God dream? What’s the best thing that’s happened to you in the last 6 months?
If you know me, this is standard fare. But that’s not what happened when I went to Breakfast with Strangers.
Meet Matt and Courtney. Two delightful strangers who took me to breakfast. And turned the tables on me. They grilled me. Got stuff out of me. Pumped me up with coffee and let me fly. Read about it here.
And I loved it. Because I love what they’re doing and why they’re doing it.
Maybe you and I could take a stranger to breakfast too?

Talk to Me

I am blessed to have 2 people in my life who cut out newspaper articles and mail them to me all the time – my grandmother and best friend. So I was beyond thrilled when I saw Matt and Courtney’s picture! I showed the kids this post, as they recognized Matt and Courtney’s story as the article is still hanging on our refrigerator! :)
This just made my morning and I’m so delighted that you three souls connected. This world is so small and God is so good.
Gracious! Small world ~ BIG God. :)
I love this idea of greeting strangers. On March 27, 2013, I will be celebrating 5 years cancer-free, thank you Lord! The past 5 years have been an incredible journey and visiting with “Strangers” to ask them if they are current on their mammogram has been interesting to say the least. God has given me the courage to open my mouth, ask the question and then deliver the Good News, His blessings & His healing & Him turning the scariest moment of my life into the greatest blessing. Life came down to me & God and then it got real simple, trust Him with my next breath, wow. I love Him. You are a ray of Sonshine Suzie!
Wow! I love that you’re asking people … and in so, caring for strangers. Your neighbors.
Yay God that you’re almost 5 years cancer free!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a fantastic thing! SO neat! Meeting you was like running into sunshine! What a great thing to have someone say about you!
They were terrific. And what they wrote ~ and how they encapsulated my life story was beautiful. Special people, those two.
