conversation starters: Sunday Supper (& giveaway)

I ask lots of questions. My friends and family know this about me. It’s not at all unusual to sit at our family dinner table and dive deep in conversation about life and God and all kinds of spiritual stuff.

Last weekend over Sunday Supper, the PWA (pastor’s wives alliance … a funny little name we gave ourselves) challenged me to start writing posts about the questions I ask. They said they needed reminders to dive deep with their friends & family ~ and would love some questions to get started. So let’s go!

I have probably asked this question a thousand times. A couple years back, when I was on a morning radio show, my peeps used to tease me about it … take a listen here:

Big God Dream

… something sooo big that only God could accomplish it. It’s an ask so enormous – only he could make it happen in your life. Big God Dreams are so grand that it would have to take his favor and his action. They are scary and audacious which is not a bad thing – because they’ll chase you right to him.

How about try that one at the table? And to encourage you, I’m happy to host giveaway of Holley Gerth’s new book, You’re Made for a God-sized Dream. It’s fabulous. And I really think it will help you think BIG about all that God has for your life. It will definitely facilitate diving deep at the table. ;)

To enter to win a copy of Holley’s book (I have 3 books = 3 winners!!), share this post on FB, twitter or pin on pinterest ~ and let me know that you did in the comments.  And if you’d like a second chance to win, share with us by answering this:

What question do you ask to dive deep in conversation?

Contest ends Thursday February 21, 2013 at midnight (CST). Winners (3) will be contacted via email. Continental US entries only.
