Hi.

Thank you so much for your consideration! If you’re like most event planners I’ve met … you are either a volunteer or an over-worked (and probably under-paid!) staff person at a non-profit.

Thank you for what you do. It matters. And it’s an important job. Finding the right person to keynote your event is paramount. It can be the difference between a successful event and a ho-hum event.*

Because I know how difficult your job is and how little time you have to spend finding the perfect speaker … I thought I’d cut to the chase and let you know exactly what you’re getting into should you decide to book me for your event.

I am an encourager. After I speak, I want attendees to feel uplifted. They’ll laugh and maybe cry but either way, my prayer is they will feel encouraged by stories and scripture to live a more abundant, joy-filled life. To love God and people and even themselves in a more holistic and healthy way.

Another thing you need to know: I will not be fussy if the microphone goes on the blink. Or the power point fails. Of if someone’s cell phone goes off. Such is life. And the show will go on. Technology is not the main thing – the message is the main thing.

Finally, I will talk about God and reference the bible but I will not use Christian-ese and make people who don’t yet know God feel uncomfortable. Not my style.

Now, just some details:

  1. This year I will be speaking on the issue of overcoming fear and uncovering the negative effect it produces in a life. The content will be focusing on my soon to be released book, Unafraid: Trusting God in an Unsafe World.
  2. I usually travel with a helper or a friend. They will handle my book table.
  3. I’ll pray for you and your group and the upcoming event. I have no intention of coming in and winging it without God’s help.

There. Enough said. After all this, if you think I just might be a fit … simply click here and tell me what you need. If my calendar is open for your date, I’ll send a booking form (with speaker fees) for your consideration. And who knows? In the near future, it might just be you and me stepping into some big God plans!

Much love and peace,

Susie Davis

*If I am not a fit for your event, I’ll be the first person to let you know. And I will gladly recommend other professional speakers for you to consider.
