I am honored to have the most fabulous team of creatives contributing to this blog. Some are friends. Some are family. All are deeply loved and appreciated … meet the team!
Laura Lee Blackburn
… is a Baylor bear, avid tea drinker, and a firm believer that the perfect song can make a moment. She likes taking ordinary things and making them extraordinary and thinks the right lighting can make anything beautiful. Her love of light is best manifested in film. A beekeeper, pianist, and Austin-enthusiast, she is always reminded of how spectacular life is. Her favorite things include Snow Beach, flipping pennies lucky-side up, and collecting old decks of playing cards.
Emily Davis
… is a recent college grad and new member of the team at Austin Christian Fellowship as the youth minister for the Northwest Hills venue. As such, she’ll get to do all the things she loves: encourage students, learn more about God, and have some fun in the process. In addition to following that call, she enjoys filling her time with all activities ‘Austin,’ including lake Austin, good music, slaloming, Amy’s Ice Cream, and driving with the windows down.
Shelby Jones
… is a freshman at Texas A&M Aggie with the dream of owning her own graphic design business. She loves collecting admission tickets, eating mint chip ice cream, and believes a camera can capture the perfect moment. She loves being with her closest friends while chatting over coffee and reading books on hot summer days. Her passion in life is God, design, and art. She hopes those passions collide and she gets to share them with the world.
Ronne Rock
… is a creative insomniac who used to wear business suits in corporate America. These days, you’ll find her the kitchen baking mini-cupcakes or laughing with discarded orphans in foreign places. To her, every day is a story waiting to be revealed in words & pictures. An Oklahoma gal, Ronne and her husband Brad have found their happy home in Texas – where she cooks to her heart’s content for her family, her friends, & her cool grandson, Sawyer.
Kate Stafford
… is a photographer, designer and artist. She loves using visual imagery to connect people and stories. Her heart is to bring those together through various mediums. Kate is an Austin girl who spends most of her time outside finding beauty in simple things. She loves coffee in cute mugs, running, outdoor concerts, meeting friends at happy hour, big sunglasses, floppy hats, Barton Springs, the lake, the pool, rivers and summertime.
