Need a Vacation Giveaway

Ok, everybody … raise your hand if you need a vacation. Yep. That’s pretty much what I thought.

I’m feeling it too. Looking back, it’s been a crazy year.

Eek, this is starting to sound like one of those Christmas letters. Not my intention. My intention was to point out that we all probably need a vacation. And to show you Essie’s summery pink shade called …

Essie, that’s so clever!

If you need a vacation – and you like this Essie shade – then I’ve got good news! Just tell me where you’ll go or what you’ll do this summer and you’re entered to win this super-summery-pink bottle of fabulous. (Sorry, guys.  Not a very manly giveaway …)

Winners (I’ll choose 3) will be announced & emailed this weekend.

Just post a comment (here or on my FB page) and you’re entered to win.

Love Essie! Especially their super cute pink shades. I would rock this color poolside while hanging out with my fam. Or on the beach of course.

Love the name of this polish – how inspiring! We may not be taking a traditional vacation this summer, however, I’ll be helping my mom with “Camp Nana” when my two nephews come to town. We’ll probably head to Galveston with them for a few days as well. And perhaps a long weekend with just the hubby and me (and a good book). Wherever your vacation takes you, near or far, take a day to rest! :)

We actually already took our vacation for the summer at the beginning of May. We went to Disney World! It was a lot of fun and very much needed! I can bet though that by the end of the summer I’ll be craving another trip. If we could I’d head on down to Atlantic Beach, NC right now! We have at least one trip planned though this summer. We’ll be heading up to PA for a wedding in July!

I love that nail polish. The color is so cute and would be perfect on my bare toesies. =) And the name is perfect!

What a perfect polish color for all of us! I stumbled upon your blog last week and it is now the one page I read every morning as I drink my first cup of coffee. Your photos and your writing are so inspiring! Thank you.

We are heading to Ireland this summer, to find our family history. So excited!

We are headed to Montana to visit family and celebrate 4 sweet girls who all turn 2 within a few weeks of each other including my sweet twin girls. It will be a wonderful celebration with family we don’t see nearly as often as we should. We will hang out in Helena and then go to a cabin in Yellowstone National Park – his family is a bit more outdoorsy than mine so it should be fun with girls who just moved to big girl beds and are semi-potty training…I’m looking forward to it but need some prayers:)

Ah. Vacation. With two toddlers our vacations require a vacation to recover from the cups, multiple changes of clothing, naps, fits, misplaced blankets and favorite toys. And my husband came home from work last week and said he wants to go to San Antonio to take the kids to Sea World.

And I will love every stinkin’ minute of it!

How pretty..well after each and every year attending a place on the Gulf Coast…this year we are staying home.
Our church in Cincinnati partnered with IJM (International Justice Mission) to help girls in India be rescued from sex trafficking. Anyway, we launched a campaign back in November to raise money for the rescued girls to recieve quality aftercare.
My husband and I decided to place our vacation money there-so no summer beach for us…but we are ok with that-more than ok really (and so are our kids).
So wouldnt a nice dinner on the patio this summer, complete with barefeet and pink toes be just the ticket! I thinks so…..
Happy Vacations to all this summer!

We are going to the Bahamas for a week in July, and I can’t wait. The baby is graduating next week and there is so much preparation going on right now. It’s all wonderful, but I am tired. :-) Thank you for the chance to win – such a pretty color!

We are headed to Branson, MO with our neighbors for a few days on the lake. Not a very exciting vacation, but one that we know the kids will enjoy, and where we can relax.

we started remodeling the day it snowed. my husband and i have been doing the majority of the work ourselves to save money, but we gave in and hired someone to do our floors. we have lived with so much dust, all our furniture crammed to the middle of every room, messes everywhere!! we have a long way to go, but we do see light at the end. it has been a rocky road, but i have learned to respect all that my husband does and gained some patience, acquired new construction skills i never knew i had, and become a gardener just to have something to do outside the house! my girls have been wonderful living in this mess, but they look forward to being able to have playdates at our house again. my vacation will be enjoying our work and having a clean house once we are finished!
    happy vacations to all!

My husband and I already took the little kiddos to the beach, but I’d love to go somewhere with just him. My dream would be a cruise to Alaska or Bermuda, but I’d settle for a comfy bed in a cabin where we could catch up on some sleep. So that’s the plan- remember the fun we had, and day dream about being whisked away somewhere relaxing. And change a few diapers in the mean time. =) Thanks for the sweet give-away.

I love nail polish! Really can brighten any day or any outfit, even become a conversation starter! I think this is a great color! Especially since today is my 24th birthday and I could not be more excited to FINALLY be taking a vacation this weekend to Horse Shoe Bay!! It is much needed! I am originally from Detroit and have been living in Austin for 2 years now. This summer I am focusing on traveling all around Texas starting with this weekend’s resort kick off! Port Aransas and Houston are next month and I am super excited for those vacations as well!

Oh my – this looks like just the shade of pink for me! I don’t think we will get our regular beach vacation this year. Some circumstances seem to be preventing that. However, in a few weeks, we plan to have a BIG DAY at an amusement park nearby. I haven’t been there in years, and our daughter has never been there. We are ALL really looking forward to the ESCAPE, and releasing some pent-up stresses. I think it’ll be “just the ticket!”

Hi! I found you from Big Mama and I’m so glad I did. We live in Houston and want to visit Austin for vacation. It’s such a pretty and fun city! I’m trying to figure out favorite Austin places so I’ll know where to go and what to do. Love the nail polish!

    Susie –

I really enjoy reading your blog (and Will’s as a frequent attender of ACF) and I too have had a crazy busy year. This time last year, we’d already been on a big vacation and yet this year, we haven’t been on a vacation since Christmas.

I am super duper excited to go to Port Aransas for the first time this weekend (I’m a native Arizonan so having a beach close by is a novelty to me). I can’t wait to introduce my 3 year old to the ocean, build sand castles with her, and show her that there’s a larger body of water out there than Lake Austin :)

I LOVE that shade of nail polish and the name says it all. Thanks for all that you do to inspire us!

    Angela
